    Fill the boxes with paper from the shredder for more stability. Oh, How cute would it be to cover the boxes with pretty fabric!

    That is just TOO cool!!! I too, have an extension table, which, like you said is really nice but doesn't do much when you've got a sizable quilt going through your machine. I was rummaging around the other day for something to do the same thing with. I used a couple of ArtBin boxes and a thread box, but of course they weren't uniform in size and kept sliding here and there. I need to go check out the vinyl, too.
