Wildyard, you truly have a warm and loving heart! Makes me cry with joy and is a good reminder to me that this world still has such caring people. This board is so wonderful...I can't tell you how many times I have had tears when reading.

Akrogirl, My prayers are with you as you fight this. Lots of love.

Well, I just asked akrogirl for her address, told her I had some fabric with horses I couldn't really use and wanted to send it to her. Giggles....
I told her in a note with the quilt, the reason I couldn't use it anymore was because I had sewed it all together into a quilt for her.
It was a blessing to me all the fun I had making this quilt and giving it as a surprise.

Yes that sounds like a lot of the quilters I know, they never make any for themselves but selflessly give them all away.

Best of luck with your therapy, and enjoy your love filled quilt.

I still can't believe that she went to so much trouble for a complete stranger, but this quilt is now one of my most prized possessions - both for its beauty and the love that went into it.

Wildyard - you are a very special person and the world is a better place because of your presence in it.
Wildyard, you are truly a quilt angel.
And Akrogirl-my thoughts, prayers, and hugs!

Hang in there and keep your faith.
Wrap up in your new quilt and say a prayer for the maker.
My prayers are with you, from now till C. is all gone.
