Thanks Audrey. Her parents were very happy
with what the dress "became". :P
I wish I had better pictures of it.

to tell the truth, why does anything have to happen to it? wait for the right moment and decide then. don't be talked into making a mistake just because they don't like it.

I always wanted to have a Christening gown made from mine...but my daughter did not have children.

So make something for yourself with it...
like a beautiful quilted throw for your sofa
or bed. Or a fabulous caftan for lounging..
or a nightie. Throw pillows for your bed??
How about pillow cases? If the fabric is satin
you'll love the luxurious feel of it and
satin cases keep your hair from tangling during sleep.
You'll never use it again so do something fun with it for you.

I did not know that about satin keeping your hair from tangling. I have long hair and I usually have to wear it up at night just to avoid that kind of problem. I'll have to keep this in mind and see if I can pick up a satin pillow case or two.

It works for me. I have short hair, but would wake up every morning with hair sticking out in all directions! I made a satin case for my pillow and love it.
