My DH never ceases to amaze me with his creativity. I haven't bought a ruler in a few years. All I have to do is say,
"Honey, can you make this for me"? That is all it takes and just a little time. Wish I had started this quilting business when I was younger. Then I might be almost as good as many of you members on the board.

Cute helping hand. The clips are too big for me to use on binding but I use them for chip bags, holding strips, anywhere I need a big clip and since they are throw a ways, no guilt at all in not having to take care of them.

I've been doing this for a while too. After I break them off the hanger, I put them in the dishwasher so it will be "my dirt", And I put them in my kitchen drawers, for baggies and etc. They work perfectly.
