    Default My Yard Sale Find

I feel that the fabric in this quilt top is from the 50's and 60's (opinions please). It is well made and partially done by hand and partially by machine. It is placed on a full bed and is a large Lone Star Quilt pattern. I feel so lucky to have located it. It was a small yard sale and we almost didn't stop. When the lady says, "Give me a dollar and it's yours", I couldn't get my money out fast enough. There isn't a flaw in it. Here it is

Wow! What a prize! Don't you wish that it could talk and tell you it's life history?

What a treasure! You must be doing a happy dance. It amazes me what people dispose of and the things they hang onto.

Wow, the thread in the quilt is worth more than that! It's a shame they didn't see the value of the quilt ... but very lucky for you.
