The point being - not that you really want or can afford 1000 yards (even at these great prices!) - but that if you want 3 yards, they may or may not have it. Their "customer service" section doesn't say what they will do in this case (though hopefully they'll contact you!)

It does say they will ship what they have. so if you want 6 yards for backing and they have 1 1/2 that is what you get. Not convenient for me.

i've never been a slave to "the latest" or "the newest", so never care even a whit whether or not fabrics are. i'm perfectly happy with the discontinued stuff. as to the shipping, nothing in life is perfect. at those prices, i'll risk a bit of inconvenience. it's a much more fun way to "gamble" than a trip to vegas.

Using their fabric easel allowed me to line up fabrics for my strata stars. 1 yard cost me less than 1/4 yd at my LQS.
Whats not to like plus most of it was Jinny Beyer and it never goes out of style. Thank you ladies, you made my week.

I just went to look -- and it cost me $60!!!!! Oh, by the way, shipping doesn't count in my calculations. Pay the fabric store's markup or pay the price in gas to go 60 miles to a decent fabric store. That's how I rationalize, and I'm sticking to it.

Wow, I just gave it a quick check, and now I'll be spending all afternoon checking out MORE fabric. Thanks Partice, I think!
