    I am watching all these quilts being posted here, love many of them, but being fairly new to quilting it would be very helpful to many of us, I am sure, if the name of the pattern was posted as well.

    You can always ask on the thread, or PM the quilter.
    It would be nice to have the Pattern listed :D

    Most of mine have no pattern so to speak, that may be the case for many that don't list the pattern . But in the future I will list the pattern if known . Guess I never thought about it , thanks for mentioning it :thumbup:

    What also makes listing a pattern "interesting" -

    many patterns have several names -

    and some names have several patterns associated with them

    i never use patterns. i design my own. so, i couldn't be of much help.

    i do think it's a great suggestion, though. if we're posting work based on somebody else's pattern, we should include that information. the designer gets credit, and those who might want to buy their own copy of the pattern will know what to look for.
