Default name of this quilt pattern?

I got this as a UFO (mostly finished) at a yard sale. Would love to know if this pattern has a name - I see elements of Monkey Wrench in there. I just finished hand quilting it and need to pick out a binding fabric now.

Do the small white squares have a center seam? (Trying to figure out the blocks---I think I see what they are.)

    A closeup picture would help.

Just taking a guess but it's reminds me of Jenny Doan's style. She has a way of laying simple blocks that end up looking great in the finished quilt.

Don't know the name & couldn't find the pattern anywhere, but for anyone interested it is simply

dark squares cut at 8.1/2 and 4.1/2" -
strips of 4.1/2" white and two med.blue cut 2.1/2" sewn either side, and cut into 4.1/2" sections
and a square-in-a-square of 8.1/2" with a light blue centre and 2 triangles of both med.blues.

Looks like a square in a square alternated with a split rail fence.
