Name your sewing machine?

I name my machines. I know it may sound silly. But I cannot help it!
My 1937 Featherweight is called "Sissy".
My white/green Featherweight is called "Lily".
My Singer XL1000 is called "Em".
My Janome QDC3160 is called "Sheila".
My Janome 6500P is called "Jemmie".
My Janome 6600P is called "Sweetie". This machine is used everyday! And she is a Sweetie.
XOXOXOXO Subee

I have a Janome Platinum. I call her "Blondie". I also have a "Big Bertha". It's my ironing board. A great big metal thing that a friend gave me as a wedding shower gift 35 years ago. My husband thought he would do me a favor one day while I was at work. He brought "Big Bertha" to the local dump and bought me a small one to hang on the back of my sewing room door. When I came home the new one was quickly returned and he went directly to the dump to retrieve "Big Bertha". We still laugh about it to this day ;-D

My little 221-1 FW has a 1st & last name - Ayasha Kuwanlelenta. Ayasha is Cheyenne meaning ‘Little One’ and Kuwanlelenta is Hopi and means ‘to make beautiful surroundings’. I thought this was very fitting for her. When I saw her for the 1st time I couldn’t believe how little she was!

I named mine after one of our World War 2 hero's. She is one of the hundreds of thousand women that built the weapons and other equipment for the troops. Team work at home and in the combat theaters won the war and saved our way of life here in America.
I call her "Rosie The Riveter"
