Name your sewing machine?

I haven't named any of my machines, hmmm I don't know why not. But I do think they each deserve one. So the 1972 golden touch and sew should be called "Golden Oldie" It was my first machine and I lugged that sucker to class after class for several years, and built up some muscle doing it. I love my Elna Quilters Dream and Eleanor is the first name that comes to mind. And my beautiful 1950 singer has to be Florence, since she was the original owner.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the GPS will remain nameless since she and I do NOT get along. She thinks she knows everything, but she doesn't. My DH has a very soft spot in his heart for her and he takes her with him every chance he gets. So IF I were to give her a name, it would be Jezebel.

My Featherweight is "sweet Caroline", my other older singer Is "Lucy", Bernina is "Grace", Viking is "Sophie" and my midarm Phaff is " Lily". I also named all the animals on the farm when I was a kid and half the wild ones I saw!

My Bernina is named Betsy, my Windstar is named Willie, and my GPS is called Rrecalulating"! Oh, and my seam ripper is called Ricky.
Should we be naming other things, too, like the vacuuum cleaner? I would call mine "Yes, Boss" because we have one that has lights on it that indicate the level of cleanliness of the carpet. If there's a lot of dirt, a red light lights up, some dirt shows either one or two orange light, and clean shows a green light. Sometimes I have to go over and over and over an area before I get to green  , but I won't stop vacuuming until I do :!:
I can see this getting out of hand if we name washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, stores, etc. etc.
If we name them, can we count them as dependents on our taxes????

I only have a sewing machine that has been loaned to me so there is no name but my car is a jeep liberty and I am know as the GREEN HORNET. I'm told my tires last so long because they usually don't touch the pavement.
