Does anyone have a pattern for a Nap Mat Cover for a child in
DayCare? I need to make a few.

    Thanks,

    Here is one I found:

Not sure if this is what you want but try googling "blogs nap mats" and you will get lots of hits. There are lots of women out there that have blogs with lots of tutorials on them.

That's mine and I really enjoy doing these and if you're required to use the folding mats and want a cover, I would make a lined pillowcase style. Lined so you can have a pieced quilt and it be protected from being put on and taken off.

But for me, I'll stick to my "nap towels" they are great and you can even use a used towel if you have to.

I am so tickled that others are making this nap mat cover. I thought I was being origianal with mine. We have a 4K DGD and I thought of making one with blocks with appliqued items that we have enjoyed together. I will try to get a picture as soon as I finish it, but here is what I have done so far. All blocks are 12 1/2 inches square. I have appliqued: one with an "O", for her name, one with a duck, one squirrel (the hardest), one frog, one apple, one heart. Each will also have a capital letter, i.e., A for apple. I have finished all but the bright yellow sashing and the backing. Good luck.

I used king size pillow cases back in the day...23yrs ago. then used that size for a pattern to make my own.

I bought the towels today, now to find all the fabrics. I hope I have what I need in my stash if not I'll start searching and no time to waste school starts Aug. 17.
