I have several jelly rolls I could have chosen one to sewn something today...but didn't. Walked into the sewing room and felt no joy there for some reason. Thought it best to turn around and walk out.

I went shopping for jelly rolls in jelly roll day...thought there would be great sales, NOT. I saw a few at 19.00 per roll up to 58.00 ( that was the sale price)
Omg. When you do the math on price per yard computation, most of the rolls are 12.00 up to 20.00 per yard. Yikes!
I have refused buying them unless 19.00 or less....and they still keep going up, along with the 5 and 10 inch squares.
I do use mine for totes, purses and rugs.

So it will be stash using from now on.

Here's an easy pattern. I loved it, but I gave it away to my niece.

That looks like a neat pattern - I may have to try it.

I often go thru my stash and use up leftover fabric from projects by cutting 2 1/2 strips and 2 1/2 squares. I always seem to use them for some project.

I remember that pattern. Think I even bookmarked it. Now, I need to make it! What a interesting and beautiful jelly roll.

Here's another idea for using a jellyroll. I just finished a large tote bag (14" wide x 16" high x 9" deep) using a single jellyroll plus a some solid red fabric from my stash for the handles and binding. The pattern was the Anything Goes Bag from Auntie Two. So glad I still have my Pfaff 362 that was built like an army tank or I never would have been able to sew through some of those layers!
