So sorry to hear about your friend. I agree with ManiacQuilter2 that Warm Wishes is a quilt that works up quickly, whether it is done in some of the Quilt for a Cure fabric that I've seen, I've even made a couple Bow Tucks bags from a pretty blue background with butterflies and pink ribbons that I found at JoAnn's, plus another from a Quilt for a Cure fabric I had purchased on line, which my DDIL asked me to make for our DGD's babysitter, who is a survivor of breast cancer. Hopefully things will go well for your friend, however, with the quilt you plan to make for her she'll always be wrapped in love.

Sorry about your friend; prayers. A popular pattern around here are just strips cut 2 and 1/2" and sewn lengthwise, as big as you want the quilt. Then flowers cut from felt along the bottom and a sunshine and maybe a cloud in the sky. They made them at the new member class and they were Pretty! (and quick.):

why do I hear so often they are "gonna watch it"?we don't have my brother-in-law anymore because they "watched" a spot on his lungs.Yes,he was a smoker.I realize they don't want to do unnecessary invasive procedures, but,I have heard too often after watching for awhile if treated early the life would have been saved.Don't let them watch it,just do the bioposy and get over it if nothing is found.
