    I like the first one with the same color surrounding each star. The second one makes me a bit dizzy when I try to study it to see the pattern.

    I concur with these ladies - I made up a similar one with blue scraps and it helped to spread the shades out over the whole quilt.

    I'm having a hard time choosing between the two of them, but I think I prefer the first one.

    Thanks for your input everyone, I have had pictures of the 2 layouts up on my wall and I think I will go with the second version. Now just to cut my fabrics and start

    I like the first one. I have a harder time seeing the stars in the second picture.

    Personally I like the first one best However, they are 2 completely different quilts, you should do both!

    I like the second one better for some reason. Seems like the stars pop out more for whatever reason. Good luck.

    I like both - if you want a truly scrappy feeling then #2, if you want a more ordered "planned" quilt then #1

    Good luck! Either way it looks like it will be beautiful.
