I know you all can help me. I'm not an expert at FMQ but have managed to do meandering. I want to do something a little different for my borders which are about 4" wide. I plan on using invisible thread on top. I practiced and I think the stitching is consistent re: tension. Do you have any simple ideas for the borders? Thanks!!!!!

This might be a silly question, but if it's invisible thread, can you see it? Will the pattern show up, or not at all?

Some easy FMQ: a meandering line with a little loop, curvey line, loop, etc; flowers; leaves; stars, triangles

    More difficult: Hearts, butterflies

Can you post a picture of the quilt top?

Not a silly question at all. When I practice, even though the thread is invisible, the batting poofs a little so something will show. And the thread will show on the backing. Will try and post a picture. I like the idea of hearts or butterflies. I'll have to practice some of them. Thanks.

I have two simple continuous line stencils that I use. One is leaves and the other is hearts. Got both at Joanns with coupons.
