    I also agree the darker would just stop the design.

    Most picture frames are dark to set off the subject so the dark color would do the trick for you.

    I would use the dark color, it would show off more and enhance your quilt, love your colors.

    I'd go with the darker color for the binding. I love the quilt and the colors.
