I put together a bargello with the colors of the rainbow and would like to put flying geese border but can't make a decision what colors to use or should I just do a print with black? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pic would help. If you can't do that, try using all the colors from your Bargelo with a nuetral background.

I don't know how to do it have tried several times to post pictures only when my kids are here can they do it for me. I just know how to write emails not computer literate, wish I was.
But it starts out with shades of white to wine and then light blue to dark blue. Thats the best I can tell you.

I think a flying geese border would compete with the center.

Thanks Scissor Queen do you have any suggestions of color or should I stick to solid rather than print?

I think I would use several of the colors from your quilt when you make your flying geese...maybe all of them, with a neutral background, like Sue (DogHouseMom) suggested.

Or you could pick 3 of your wine colors or 3 of the blue colors and do 3 narrow (1 1/2 or 2 inches) borders, light to dark. I think that is what I would do. It would not fight with the bargello, just frame it.
