    My vote is to use one of the floral fabrics in your quilt for the border. If you don't have enough of those fabrics left...use a floral with the same complimentary colors. Your freehand stippling is very nice! Good job!!!

    I would go with the floral also. It would pull the floral out of the quilt. The blue is already dominate, red and white are bold. Yes go with the floral.

    I almost always make binding strips out of my left over fabric from that particular project. It makes a nice scrappy binding.

    I can see a narrow white border to match the white around the block and than finish with a wider red border

    I am thinking the floral, then the red.... a double boarder...
    white would get dirty too fast, and too much blue already...

    When I first saw the photo, I was thinking blue, as I like the binding to just fade into the background. But when you said you were going for a patriotic look, and had the varagated stippling, I changed, and thought red would be perfect.
