I had posted for the Americana Cowboy fabric (still searching). Now I need a suggestion for one of my other nephews. He is turning 13 and his room decor is going to be black and gray. Yep, that tween/teen thing. He's very smart and also plays sports but didn't want anything in sports theme.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

I seen a picture of a quilt in Keepsakes quilting that was done in black, gray & red using the 10 minute block. D9P would also work in black and gray.

Thanks, what kind of prints, though?

I gathered 19 black and white and white and black FQ and one Red Print FQ, then I did a Turning Twenty for my son. I put red binding around it and he loved it.

I would think any geometric patterns, circles, blenders, funky dots or spots, lines, etc. It may take looking at a few sites, but there is a lot out there. A tube quilt would be easy and quick, too, if you are in a hurry. Or 10 - minute blocks are quick, also.

Black and white geometrics, and white and black geometrics with a solid colour to make it pop (lime green, blue, red etc). This is one my DGD and I made together, she is 15 and did not want girly colours or patterns. She picked out the colours and the pattern.

Love Quilterella's quilt too! Log cabin in black to grey with red centers would be awesome as well.

Nice fabric selection! That is the type of quilt I would like. I don't like girly stuff either!
