Want to start quilting a baby quilt. Have the perfect color grey glide thread and bobbins. Is this ok thread or should I use aurafil? Sorry for spelling. Thanks for any advise.

I can’t think of a reason why you shouldn’t use it.

I"m not familiar with glide thread. look it up on internet too. My machine doesn't like Aurafil thread much.

I just started using this brand and like it. I quilted a small quilt in the hoop with the embroidery machine. My spool says 100% polyester. I used it in the bobbins also.

I adore using glide for quilting! I wouldn't use it for piecing only because I like a finer thread for piecing but for quilting it is great! I use Glide more than any other thread for quilting.

I use Glide thread all the time and love it. It is strong and light at the same time. It moves smoothly too.

Glide thread for quilting. But the real question is..... Does your machine like Glide thread? Some machines just won't sew or quilt with certain threads. You just have to figure it out as you go.
