My dear friend lost her "blankie" when her car was stolen as a college student. She brought it everywhere! She's about to have her own baby now and I'm searching for that fabric to recreate it. Any suggestions? It's a yellow quilting fabric with blue, pink and yellow chick's and bunnies on it. Help?

The best suggestion I have would be to run it through a fabric finder if she has a clear picture of the blanket somewhere.

Sounds like a 30s repro..maybe if you looked at those you'd find something similar. I know some of my repros have bunnies and chicks.

There is a web site called MissingFabrics.com. I have used it a few times and have had terrific success. Got very quick response and the fabric was reasonably priced.
