I am moving to a new office October 1 and it doesn't have a window. My plan is to have wall hangings that represent the four seasons. I have seen a pattern that looked like a window but can't find it now. I thought I could use a background fabric that represented the different seasons but can't find a "window" pattern to complete it. I don't want to do attic windows, just a four pane window design. Does anyone have any links for a pattern such as this. Free would be great, but I'm willing to buy one if it is exactly what I want. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

Here is my tute on variant D9P. (I invented this variation.)

They ended up looking like windows. Just change the proportions of the original blocks to get something more square.

You would put your landscape squares in the 4 corner blocks.

If the layout in the window is

    AB
    CD

sew them together in this order

    DC
    BA

This isn't it exactly, but I really like the pattern. I may use this one instead of what I was looking for. Thanks so much.

Google Attic Windows quilts and you'll find one you like!

There is a quilt that was made for me that I love - it's a 4 pane quilt but it's a tree from each season in each pane. http://funthreads.blogspot.com/2011/...ging-with.html

Are you looking for an actual scene in the 4 panes?

Thanks Yarn or Fabric. This is really cute and I've bookmarked it. Not exactly what I'm looking for but close.

Yes, what I'm looking for is like a scene you would see "through" the window.

Why don't you do a large attic window "frame" and a fat quarter or so size piece of fabric with the type of view you want to see out the window pane
