Sharkluver, you will also love the speed that this machine has. I especially love it when I have to sew two width of fabric strips together. It is so much faster than my Pfaff is.

Ok all, I received the foot pedal for the machine and the machine works! I am, however, having an issue putting the bobbin and and having it STAY IN PLACE.....any hints?

Are you holding up the lever as you slide the bobbin in? Here's a picture. Hold the lever up as you slide the bobbin in. It should lock into place. That gap you see in the bobbin case should also be facing skyward.
