If we're going to make this happen, everyone should start thinking about a place to meet.... a restaurant or whatever. _:-)_[/quote]

For a quilting get-together, I suggest Pine Tree Quilt Shop in Salem. They have a classroom that can be rented for a few hours for pretty cheap! Plus the store is just plain FABULOUS.

But if some are traveling and coming into the area, they would not necessarily have their machines and WIP's with them.

A restauant idea is Outback on the Tyngsboro/ Nashua border.

I don't know who else might be joining us. How would we go about letting people around MA/NH know about a gathering?

So, there's a fabulous quilt shop in Salem. I'll have to check that out. I always go to one in Ipswich. It's small, quaint and I just like the ride. My husband is so good to me. He drives, dogs in the back and they all take a nap while I shop :D

Kooklabell - I guess the right place on this board would be the Members Offline events/ announcements.

Hi Kooklabell, You may already be there but just in case I love the virtual area on this board for One Block Wonders, Kaleidoscopes and Stack 'n Whack. There are wonderful tutorials and lots of help. I'm going to try one soon. Have fun! http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual...jsp?vsnum=1006
