    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site and I've been looking around - alot! I saw one or two postings on a way to cut/sew fabric that really changes how the fabric looks. There don't seem to be directions for it, quilters say there is a book. One stated that the key to getting the "look" was to use bold printed materials. And another stated that you have to press the seams open when you piece it together. UGH, I'm probably not making much sense. I've tried to backtrack, but I just can't find it again. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Patricia: From the "clues" you have given, I think you may be searching for instructions for "One Block Wonder". If you click on the search button up above, then type in that subject and enter, you can see all the posts about this pattern. I am getting ready to try my first one, so have been reading. Let me know if this is what you meant, otherwise we will try again. Penny in K'zoo

This turned out even better than I had hoped. The process is stack and wack that I was looking for. But in the process, I have been given these lovely ideas too! I love this one too! It is going on my wish list :)

    Thank you!

It only becomes "slice and dice" or "chop and sew" when you get REALLY frustrated! __:shock: __

Just kidding. I think you'll like either the OBW or Stack 'n Whack. Have fun!
