    Hi -

I am hoping the fine folks here can help me identify what the pattern is that is on this quilt. If its original or a known pattern. i would appreciate it.

Welcome to the board. Looks like a lovely quilt. Can't see it well enough to reseach.

I believe that is the pattern sometimes called 'whirlwind' or 'prince's feather'. A picture of a block would be helpful to those who know more than I.

O, flicker picture makes it seem like an octopus. LOL

yeah, lol. i'm not a quilter, but trying to get something possibly similar made, and me going "tentacle octopus flower" in my searches really wasn't helping. i think it is a variation on the "princess/prince feather" which is so helpful, thank you. i wish i had a better picture of it but right now i don't.

i do have an additional question, for anyone, what would i be looking at time/money wise to have something like this made for a full size bed?
