Have seen some stick on handles, but unsure if they are worth the investment.
    Thanks
How high is your cutting station? I like to cut at my kitchen counter, it's a little lower than my waist. That way you can lean on the length of the long rulers and support them with your lower arm some. Have your elbow at the beginning of your cut and you hand on the other end. As with any method be careful. I don't know if that will twist you into a position that will make your back hurt.

This is what I do with every one of my rulers. I go to JoAnns and buy some of their clear vinyal (sp) that you buy to cover tablecloths or whatever. They sell in by the yard but you only need about 4 inches since the tubes are so long. Cut narrow stips to lay on the back side of each ruler...up, down, across the top and bottom. Ruler NEVER slides and sooo cheap!

I had a terrible time with my ruler too. Nothing really worked well for me until I got a ruler with a lip on the bottom edge. Now my ruler stays steady and my cutting has improved greatly. That is what has worked for me.

There is a new ergonomic rotary cutter out there that is really sharp and rolls really nicely without having to press so hard. It will cut through several layers of fabric, so if you have to fold your fabric a few times to have a shorter, cut, it will cut through it. It's about $25, but worth it.

    Hi Julie,

NEVER slides?! Really? WOW! Do you use the thinner vinyl or the thicker? It just clings to the ruler, too? Sounds great!!

    Thanks for the tip,
