I bought an older sewing machine today and can't find any info on it. I've searched the net all afternoon. The name on the machine is "National", Model 2500 (stretch series) The plate on the back of the machine has a number 10701, Made in Japan. Does anyone have a machine like this or have any idea where I might find a manual.

That look extreamly simular to a riccar that I just got. Not the same but close. Bobbin, threading ect.

If you have a question I can look in my manual and try to help that way. It might be the same.

This National sewing machine came with a bobbin case, but no bobbin. I can't even get the bobbin case to fit.I really need the instruction manual. What kind of bobbin case and bobbin does the Riccar use?

Okay here is the bobbin area for my machine.
Although my machine was made by Riccar it does not have a name on it. I have found Riccar made a lot of machines with out their name or someone else name.

I have shuttle hook bobbin I think.

    Its different but really similar

Your machine is very similar to mine and the bobbin area is almost identical. Here is a pic (didn't come out very good) of mine. I need a different bobbin case. The class 15 that was with this machine is definitely the wrong one.
