I am trying to find a manual for my sister's Singer. It is a Singer Fashion Mate. She bought it in 1978 from a Sewing Center in St. Louis. It has a tag on the bag that says "Made in Germany" and has the number 621B also on there. I have looked this machine over and cannot find a serial number anywhere. I have tried going on the internet to find a manual, but no luck. Seems 621B does not come in as a Singer Machine. Is anyone here seen a machine like this one? Can anyone tell me where to get a manual, preferably one I can download free? I want to make sure I oil it in the right spots.

Did you check the Singer website? I thought you could get them there.

That would have been my suggestion.

Why does she need a manual? Old machines like that are very easy to use, oil, clean, etc. without one. I often buy machines like that in thrift stores to fix up for a local non-profit and really don't need a manual to get them cleaned, oiled and running for use. If she still really wants a manual, any manual for a Singer Fashionmate would work. Here is a link to manuals for sale that include the Fashionmate:

I clicked on the Fashionmate 360 and the diagram of the machine looks very much like your sister's machine.
