    I like it with just the border--no lighter middle border. The green part on the inner edge of the border acts very well as a stop.

    What about using the border fabric, but put the edge with the wider green band next to the quilt. Would that tie the greens in the border and the quilt together?

    I think I would put a thinner border of green ( like in the blocks) all around before adding the poinsettia panel. I think if you just put the poinsettia border it will look entirely too busy. You've done such a nice job so far you'll want to end up with something you'll cherish. Merry Christmas.

    I think Lois S's idea of the small green border between the quilt and the border print will set the whole thing off nicely. I would forget the light border all together.
