I like her storage ideas. You can get containers at the $ store and our grocery store has packs of 3 for $. I know, I know, plastic isn't good for the fabric, but if you have had your fabric in tubs for years with no problems, then I guess I don't understand the concern. The cotton plant is a living breathing plant, but once it is picked and the cotton is made into stuff, it is no longer alive and if it needs to breathe, then I figure it can catch it's breath whenever I take it out of a tub to look for something.

I showed this to DH... his response, " Yea, right...not in this lifetime." ha ha
It looked like she has a double car garage for her storage... I have a mini basement... Terri, do you think it would fit???

I do like the way she sorted and folded the FQ's and larger... but my question is how do you store the mega yardage (3+ yards... we have bought 15 yards because we thought it would make a good backing)

I wanna see her sewing area, and the notions area. Are they that neat? Oh, yeah, they are because she is too busy organizing her stash to sew.

I would like to be that organized, but I truly dont want that much fabric. I have more than I should now and need to share.

No one, I mean, NO ONE, in their right mind could possibly use that much fabric in a lifetime. If you quilted night and day for years and years, by the time she is ready for a fabric in that collection, it will be so outdated, she will not want to use it. Talk about OCD. Poor thing has it bad. I have an 11 ft closet that is full from top to bottom and I know I will never use it all up, and my friend has two full walls stacked from floor to ceiling, but ours is nothing compared to what that woman has collected.
