WOW!!!!!!!  She has more $$ invested in her storage bins/containers than I have in everything I own for sewing/quilting!!!!!!!  It's certainly beautifully organized, but I wouldn't be able to have that much and not feel guilty. I'm sure it's great for her, but not for me. I'll stick to my little stash and supplies -- thank you very much! 8-) I'm very comfortable with it.

I agree with Jan too. When does she quilt? Looks like she spends her time sorting and folding - but, if that is what satisfies her, so be it.

She probably doesn't spend so much time now sorting and folding. She already has everything organized so when she gets something new, she simply puts it where it belongs. :? I can't even begin to imagine how long it took her to get it to that stage. I had to laugh at myself when I saw all those boxes with the handles. I have one -- and it was a gift -- but everytime I go to JoAnn's I always hesitate buying another one because I can't get past the price! That doesn't seem to be a problem for her, does it?

I would LOVE to be that organized!! It would make quilting easier, especially scrappy quilts.

I'd rather spend my time making something. I don't want to be a complete mess, but that kind of organization takes alot of time and effort. Although I guess if I had that much fabric and I wanted to ever find anything it would HAVE to be sorted out like in a store....gosh.

Sounds like a bit of stash envy going on here.

    "Compulsive"?

And why should anyone be made to feel guilty about what they can afford, whether it is fabric, a boat, a vacation home, whatever.

I'm envious of both her stash and her organization, but I certainly don't begrudge her spending her money on what she wants.

Thanks for posting the link. Oh wow. First, I need to show my husband that I am definitely NOT the "plastic queen". While I have waaaay too much fabric, I think she has me beat. Mine isn't completely organized yet, but I am getting there.
