Default Need help picking a wedding pattern

My husband's niece is getting married in June and I can't find a wedding quilt pattern I am happy with. She doesn't . want flowers - I was thinking batiks.. Something that doesn't have a million pieces. No stars, or old fashioned patterns.
Any ideas/links would certainly be helpful I am have a quilter's mind block!

I saw something on the QB recently, that I believe was a wedding quilt. Very simple but stunning. she pieced together squares of tone on tones in creams and whites and other neautral colors, then it was quilted like a whole clothe quilt. It was truly beautiful!!

does she live close to you? What I'd do is invite her to a library or quilt store, look thru some books and magazines and let her see what's available. Maybe even reference her to the quilt displays on the "PICTURE" section on this site. Tell her your limitations------------not too many pieces, no curves if that is a bother, no this or that. Let her pick out what she likes.

I agree that french braid is beautiful and goes together easily.

Can't you find something from the thread on stunning quilts? Almost any of those would make wonderful wedding quilts.
