Need Help with Sewing Strips Together

Well,I think it could be tension.But it is more likely the bottom fabric is feeding faster then the top fabric.It is the fabric next to the feed dogs.To help even it out,when you hold your fabric,as it feeds under the presser foot,tilt your hand upwards.Exposing more of your palm.This sounds dumb,but you would be creating a longer path on the underneath side.I hope this makes sense.Just try it,it does work.

WOW! Thanks for all of the advice! I realize that each new pattern I work on will have its own set of problems. I figured this one out and have been putting blocks together, cutting and putting them together again. I'm now squaring them all up before I move on. My machine has been sewing FINE, but I have started researching new ones since I never know when things could change. I'm keeping an open mind about how each part of this quilt will go together. I used to get frustrated easily but since I've started quilting again I've been surprisingly patient.
