Default Need help with T-shirt and photo quilt

Can anyone tell me the simplest way to transfer photos to fabric so I can make a memory quilt? I can't seem to find anything on the board. Thanks in advance for your help.

The best way is to use printer fabric (you can buy it in packages at your fabric store) or make your own with Bubble Jet. If they're not digital photos already on your computer you'll have to scan them into the computer and just print them out on the fabric. Don't try the iron-on photo transfers. They're hard to get a good transfer and won't stand up well to washing or the manipulating through your sewing machine while you're assembling the quilt. Trust me, I tried it years ago when I didn't know what I was doing.

I like the "Printed Treasures" photo paper. I've found they have the best color and hold up well to washing in COLD water. The paper backing is sometimes difficult to get off, though. If there's a problem getting the paper off, heat a small area, slowly pull the paper off, heat the next section, slowly pull the paper off that, continue heating and pulling to get it all off.

what ever you do...........read the package....some are "Dry Clean Only".....
There are many brands of fabric/paper....and many brands of ink jet prints....
and all will give you different results....from the exact same picture
so it really is a search and find.....
