    Default Need help with a T shirt quilt

    My daughter has lots of T shirts from sports and I would like to make a quilt but I don't know how to start. Need lots of help.

    If you type in "T-shirt quilts" in the Search section at the top of this page, you will get lots of threads on this subject. There is a lot of information on this Board that will help you with this project.

    start with purchasing fusable lightweight tricot interfacing- there are numerous tutorials and patterns available for instructions.

    google it as well and you will find lots of designs and how to. I used tricot interfacing as ckcowl suggests but do Be careful with a hot iron as the plastic will melt on the shirts if it comes in contact. I laid out my t-shirts in various patterns, then took pictures so I could see which one I liked best. Once I had the pattern I liked, I cut the t-shirts.
