My DH used Off repellent to remove Sharpie permanent marker letters. It also removed black paint (with quite a bit of elbow grease). I've got to wonder if that stuff is good for our skin. Yikes.

The old hairspray had alcohol and the new does not. Alcohol is the secret.

Several years ago, I got some ink marks on a polyester (dates me doesn't it?) dress and couldn't get it out with anything. Then I tried Shout. I poured some on the spot and rubbed it in real good, let it set awhile and then washed it. All the ink came out. Might try that.
