Need help with warm wishes quilt Please
I printed the pattern from quiltmakers but I am having a hard time understanding it... I'm trying to figure out the amount of fabric for the different strips and the 6" block for a full size bed quilt..
she talks about cream/red multiprint strips but in the picture of the lay out of the quilt it is white for the 6" sq and red cream and balck for the strips that you sew together..I guess my brain isn't working right now as I have tried to read this pattern and can't figure out the fabric for each fabric used in this quilt..
can anyone just tell me how much fabric I need for the strip blocks which make up 3 fabric and how much for the 6" block..that would be so helpfull....Thanks so much...I think I am brain dead today....LOL

I've made many WW quilts. BUT I always make my blocks 10" finished .... easy to figure the yardage. I make my own decision how wide to make the strips. I consider their pattern only a guide, I do whatever I think will look best. AND it makes a difference how large you plan to make the quilt. Hope this helps a little.

Here is the pattern for the warm wishes quilt, which has the fabric requirements for a double (full)size bed, as well as a twin. Hope this is what you need. It is a pdf file.

well no.... this didn't really help me, I'm must not be reading the pattern right..... I have the pattern and still can't figure out as to how much fabric I will need for each of the fabric in a full size quilt... does anyone know..
.marverick how much of each fabric, did you use for your 10" block...boy I must be really bad with the math or maybe it's just the reading of the pattern, but I am really mixed up..I bet once I found out how much fabric, the light will go on in the brain..LOL and will feel really dumb for asking this question..

I have not done this but was looking at the pattern. The yardage is posted for each piece and then broke down into how many stips to cut for each section, borders, bands, binding. Looks like the red/cream is for the squares. Red, black and gold multi print are for the thre color bands.
