    i done some yo yo and made a table topping when i wash it some of the thread came out what kind of thread do you use i did to some thread with two stand and some with one thread but it was with hand quilting thread

    any strong thread works- the key is to make sure you tie your yo-yos very well- when they come loose it is usually from the knot coming out-pulling through- i do use a double strand of thread-since i've made kids quilts with mine and know they will take a beating- make a good knot and tuck it inside.

    I use handquilting thread and double it. also double knot it inside it.

    Try making a surgeon's knot and tucking it in. A friend of mine puts a tiny dab of clear nail polish on her knots.
