The key phrase is "she's a quilter, too". It may be hard to give her something quilt related, unless she's given you a clue.
Consider this: make a fat quarter bundle from YOUR stash. Tie them with a pretty ribbon and attach a gift certificate from a quilt store near her.

A basket with a theme including a book and some fabrics/threads/whatever to go with the theme.

How about a gift basket with some fat quarters, a gift card, and some vintage quilting magazines bundles with a pretty ribbon, fill in the basket with some misc and what a great gift basket!

I know I have waaayyyyy to much 'stuff.' I don't need much more. I don't need more stuff to give away or recycle.

However, if someone were visiting me would take me to a LQS [maybe even leave me with a gift certificate for my favorite LQS] and then out for coffee. I'd be in heaven.

Has she mentioned any new patterns that she would like to try. Maybe you could get her the pattern and fill a basket with some quilting goodies like thread and blades and maybe a gift card to her local quilt shop or where she gets her fabric and supplies. Sue
