Default need ideas for 'Radiant Suns' quilting

I've completed the top of this vibrantly colored quilt but I'm stumped on what design to quilt it when there's irregular blocks. Any ideas? Sorry, unable to post a photo but google Radiant Suns by Cara Gulati will show you the quilt.

Almost anything but stitch inthe ditch! Try some linear curves in the beautiful curvy arcs that you have. Since your radiant suns are large graphic designs that grab the eye I would go for more close detailed quilting within the arcs to complement the design.

I agree follow the curves of the quilt. Stay away from fractured lines. Allow the flow of the curves to continue the movement throughout this quilt. Try using press and seal as an overlay. I would draw the quilting designs on that first then audition them on the quilt! GL waiting for a finished photo. Luann

Thanks for those ideas! If I do that, would you sort of co-ordinate the thread color with the block? With the blocks that are randomly set, would you still quilt withthe curves pretending that they make a swirl but stop quilting at the edge of that particular randomly-set block?

it's just a drunkard's path block... work on anything that compliments the rounded pieces... make a diagram, copy at library and then play with it to see what you like...
