    I like to dark background with the dark center. That dark fabric will make the whole quilt look vintage.

    The first one, Dark Blue with tiny flowers. I have yardage of the sage design in black. It is beautiful fabric.

    I like the first one, but I might consider doing a different color center. Something that blends in with the plate, instead of the background, but still stands out. But as is, it looks good. Keep up the good work! I found doing my first and only, dresden Plate to be somewhat challenging. I did mine with rounded edges, but I really like what you did with the having it pointed. :thumbup:

    Green is my choice as well. I think it adds a lovely background for the really nice work you've done. :thumbup:
