    Yes, I have. What kind of white though? Off-white, bright-white, or I would like white w/a print just like what's on the dark blue. What are you thinking in terms of your suggestion? Sorry, I'm so visual :lol:

    I would use a solid color background. the other prints are competing with the plates. Maybe a black or Navy.

    I tried the solid navy but it was missing something. I'm going to try to find a tone-on-tone navy and see if that does it for me.

    Be sure to post here once you settle on a background!! :) I can't wait to see it finished! Your Grandma IS proud of you I know it. :) This is why we teach our kids and grandkids about our passions, so we can live on through their creations.
