Who has used Invisigrip on rulers to keep them from slipping and what is your opinoin of it? I use sandpaper discs as well as the see-through dots, but still have to extra cautious to keep them from slipping. Opinions please and thank you.

I glued a bunch of tiny sandpaper squares today to a ruler. It works great! I put them regularly around it, so that it would sit evenly. They were really small, I put them over the squares that had numbers on them, so it didn't affect the "see thru" aspect of it at all.

I wish I had done it long ago! It doesn't budge!

I'm going to do it to them all.

I am using invisible grip at the moment and it works. I like it.

I bought a ruler with the Invisigrip dots already on them. Admittedly, I have to be careful also to ensure that the ruler doesn't slip, or do anything funny while I'm cutting.

i have had invisagrip on my 6"x24" and my 12 1/2" square rulers for about 5 years now. it was a gift and i figured i should give it a try. i messed up at first getting it on, but once i got past that, it's been fine, it's lasted all these years, and it does help with stability. and it's totally see through, you really don't know it's there once it's in place.

I too glued little sandpaper squares on each corner. Works fine. No slipping.

i've used them all. now have updated bit by bit to omnigrip rulers. the markings on the back of the ruler are made with something that does tend to grip the fabric.

I prefer the invisigrip (I have it on all of my rulers)to the sandpaper dots because if you take the pressure off your ruler you can nudge it over a thread or two to line it up exactly with the invisigrip, but when I used the sandpaper dots it ended up moving the fabric.
