This is my favorite pattern to use now, and not just for baby! Speedy Baby II by Deslynn Mecham
I embroider the middle 16 1/2" square and use scraps that I cut into 5" squares for the charm border. The sizes are already there for the borders so it makes up fast. I just added a bear paw square to the first border for my HS reunion quilt (Northrop Bruins)!

I have been there and done that....I think my problem is that I over think what I want to accomplish...sometimes if I just sit down at the machine and just putter around some it will come to me...look thru your patterns not really to pick out something , look at the fabric...I was in a really bad slump basically all winter...we have so much going on at our house with 6 people living there, all ages, and six animals, it just really gets hard to sort things out in my mind,,,,so hang in there...it will come...
