    I like it too. I find it challenging to work with colors that aren't my favorites, but when I give in the results have been good (a.k.a., liked buy others & the recipient).

    I like it! It's very pretty and looks like a little boy quilt. I think once it has the blue backing and the binding is on, it'll be perfect. I don't see any problem with it.

    i love all the replies, suggestions, and honesty.

    i have played with the placement of the fabric i have (working with limited fabric and REALLY don't want to have to buy more). i think i found a slight variation that i'm very happy with.

    as many have said, once the blue of the backing/binding is on, it will be a great frame for the blocks.

    again, thanks so much.
    can't wait to be back with "finished" pictures!
