CUTTING & SEWING DIRECTIONS:
METHOD 1: Finished block size approximately 12-1/2 inches. You need 49 complete blocks. For each
block, you will need to cut the following number of 3-1/2 inch squares:
A dark green 4 (196 total)
A medium green 4 (196 total)
A light green 4 (196 total)
A blue 4 (196 total)

It looks to me as the blocks are 12 1/2" unfinished which translates to 12" finished. Thus the larger squares in the blocks are cut to 6 1/2" and the smaller squares are cut to 3 1/2". That would make it 4 larger squares and 12 smaller squares for each 2 blocks, with half being the blue and half being the white.
Yardage can be figured out if you do strip cutting for whatever size you want to make. If you are good with paper and pencil you can figure it out the long way ... or if you have a friend with EQ they can do it for you really quickly. [I have EQ if you need help with this.]
Or ... maybe I missed something.
