Default Need the name of this quilt block

Someone left this at our church office with my name on it. It was mostly finished, so I put a hanging sleeve and binding on it and will donate it to a fundraiser. I wanted to thank the giver in a newsletter and use the name of the block. It is obviously a basket and has part of a hanky added. Who knows what it's called? Any help is appreciated!

I would just refer to it as a "basket block". There are so many like that.

It looks like a traditional basket block with a hanky added. I would call it a Hanky Basket.

it's a clever and pretty block... i just want to put some warm bread in the basket and fold the hanky over it

That's why I think it has a name -- rather than for flowers, etc., it looks like it awaits biscuits.

I made one in a class and the class was called Hanky Basket (or Handkerchief Basket if you prefer). you can get a lot of images if you search on "Hanky Basket". The point of the class was to embroider and put a scallop edge on a piece of fabric but most of the images are of vintage handkerchiefs.
