I have the chance to pick up an antique, still working Singer model 15-91 with its art-deco cabinet for $20. I know its not a featherweight, but the web sites say that it is a dependable, work horse machine popular with quilters. I saw on eBay where they are selling for $199 and up. Is this a desirable machine? Should I go for it? Thanks for your help!

Even if not working, won't be that much to get her going again. Yes, grab it.

NOW NOW NOW. You will never regret it. It will sew through everything you can possibly throw at it, and makes a beautiful stitch. GO for it!
