I wasn't really impressed with CT fabrics... but they have greatly improved them.. I just saw a group that a friend bought it was great quality. The new ones out right now..are awesome.

sorry if this is a repeat, I don't want to read 10 p. I like the quality of Conn. Threads.

Also, they take returns on cut fabric, according to the website.

I received my first order from Connecting Threads today. First let me say, I am NOT a fabric snob. I buy from anywhere that sells quality fabric, including WM, (except we don't have fabric in ours anymore) You can tell by the feel of fabric whether it is of quality or not. I've bought good fabric at WM and seen crappy fabric in LQS.

The 3 yards I got today was thin. Granted, it was marked down to either 2.96 or 3.96@ yard. I checked it against other fabric I have. It's thinner than most. I will use it, but not sure I would order again.

I purchase from them a lot and I've always been satisfied - no complaints here. I can't afford expensive fabric, so I'm always searching for sales on the more expensive fabrics.
Sounds like you're VERY particular about your fabric. If so, you might want to ask for a swatch (don't know if they'd do it, but its worth a try). Remember, "You get what you pay for".
